6 Months!

Morgan turned 6 months old on November 30th and had his well check last week.  Here's what we know about our happy, growing boy: Length 27in (64%), Weight 18lbs 8oz (62%), Head 45cm (78%). He is now eating cereal twice a day and has started to drink a little less formula at each feeding. We are to start vegetables now and will be doing that this week!  He also drinks water out of a sippy cup every now and then.  He chatters all the time and love sitting up.  We just love our little boy and his wild hair!

Thanksgiving

We spent Morgan's first Thanksgiving at Trevor's Mom's house.  Trevor's Mom, Kaye, made a wonderful dinner for us. We had a nice time celebrating the day with Nana, Uncle Todd, and friends Charles, Cori, Clark and Ann.

Our November

Well, November came and went without posts and updates from the Millers....will I ever get the hang of updating this blog ?!  Here are some of our favorite pictures throughout the month:

Child of God

Morgan was baptized on October 27th at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection by his cousin, Pastor Adam Hamilton. (Adam is Trevor's nephew.)  We had many family members and some friends join us for this special day and are grateful to have all of them in our lives.

Morgan has become quite chatty lately and I'm just loving his little voice!

Happy Halloween!

Morgan had a busy Halloween with a full day of work and play with Hope and Jack, a visit to Aunt Amy and Uncle Bill's to see his cousins, and a quick trip to the Fire Station to see Daddy.  And, it was his 5 month birthday!  Needless to say, we both were worn out by the end of the day!!

October Summary

 Well, I was the bad Mom again during October and REALLY slacked on my blog.  I'm so sorry to deprive you all of the Morgan cuteness! :)  Here is a little run-down of our busy month:

Trevor's grandma, Nana, turned 94 this month and Morgan really enjoyed her party. ;)

Our little boy turned 5 months old on Halloween!!

Morgan continues to be a very happy and content child, unless it's time to eat or he has missed the nap 'window,' then look out! :)  He is also a long kiddo, already wearing mostly 6-9 month and some 9 month clothes!  When he isn't quietly observing everything around him, he talks and giggles with the cutest voice.  I'll try to post some videos of that soon.  We just love our Morgan Francis!!

Big week!

Morgan had a week of new things including facing forward in the carrier, trying out his new exersaucer, and eating rice cereal for the first time!  Here he is enjoying being able to see on a walk with Hope and Jack:

Saturday night after bath, Morgan got to try cereal.  He seemed to really like it and didn't make too much of a mess!  Grandma and Grandad were able to watch him via FaceTime and we had our camera out as well.  Here are some shots of our little guy enjoying his first big boy meal.

4 months!

Here is our 4-month-old little boy! Trevor got to take Morgan to his 4 month appointment (I wasn't able to take off from work since his appointment was in the middle of the day) and reported that out little boy is growing just the way he is supposed to.  He weighs in at 15 lb. 7 oz. (54%), is 26.1 in. long (82%), and is in the 50% for head circumference.  He had to get shots again and I think it hurt his Daddy's heart just as much as it hurt his legs. (I was just as sad as Morgan was at his 2-month and was a little glad I didn't have to go through it with him at this appt.)

Morgan continues to be our happy and calm baby, unless it is time to nap or eat and then look out...this boy has a temper!  He smiles, giggles, squeals and coos at Trevor and I and we are just loving every minute!  He has started to notice and pay more attention to Oscar, and even played with him a little as you can see in the picture below.  Oscar was VERY well behaved while Morgan was 'petting' him, I was nervous and proud of him for his patience!
